Weather
Inland Namibia is classified as an arid to semi-arid region
with low rainfall and humidity. Temperatures vary from very
hot to very cold depending on the height of the land above sea
level and the time of year. From April to September it
is generally cool, pleasant, clear and dry with hot days and
cold nights. December to March is when most of Namibia's
rain falls, mostly in the north and becoming drier as you head
further south.
The climate on the coast follows a similar pattern but the cold
sea air mixing with the hot land air produces a moist sea fog
that can penetrate 60 km inland throughout the year.
