From Windhoek you will take a scenic flight in a light aircraft south to SOSSUSVLEI WILDERNESS CAMP.

The lodge has panoramic views overlooking the desert below.  The rooms are thatched and each has its own plunge pool where you can cool off during the heat of the day.

You will set off early in the morning for Sossusvlei, arriving at the entrance gate as it opens and then heading into the dunes to see them at their most spectacular in the dawn light.

If you have the energy you can climb the highest dunes before enjoying a picnic brunch and, on the way back to the lodge, visiting the fascinating canyon at Sesriem.

SKELETON COAST SAFARIS will pick you up early and fly you off north for an amazing adventure.  Landing wherever the pilot has something of interest to demonstrate, the safari takes you to three camps - Kuidas in the Huab Valley in Damaraland, Purros in the Haorusib Valley and the last night is spent right up in the north on the Kunene river.  The accommodation is in simple but comfortable huts or tents.

You will spend your final night in Namibia at the charming HILLTOP HOUSE in Windhoek before flying on to Botswana and straight to the heart of the Okavango Delta.

Your next stop will be at DUBA PLAINS, one of the most remote camps in the delta, built on an island shaded by giant ebony and fig trees.  Game viewing here is excellent and the area boasts possibly the highest concentration of lion anywhere in Africa.

You will take another breathtaking flight to SHINDE CAMP, a luxurious traditional tented camp situated on an island in the heart of the Northern Okavango.  The camp is surrounded throughout the year by clear waterways with abundant game and birdlife.

The main building is sited on a raised platform with the dining room looking out through a tree canopy.  There are sweeping views from the spacious twin-bedded tents. Game viewing by vehicle, on foot, in a mokoro and by motor boat are offered along with night drives and fishing.

For horse riders, the ultimate thrill in Botswana would be to take a horse back safari, galloping through the clear shallows of the Okavango Delta, getting close to the wildlife which is undisturbed by human intrusion.  With much loved and well cared for thoroughbred horses, a comfortable base camp and the option of fly camping if you wish, spend a minimum of three nights discovering the beauty of the delta.
