:: Where we go - Zambia

Surrounded by eight countries, Zambia is one of Africa's best kept secrets offering a wild terrain which remains largely unspoilt since the days of David Livingstone. The lucky visitor will discover open plains, woodlands, wetlands and forests housing an incredible diversity of wildlife, a mighty river that thunders along the southern boundaries and others that meander quietly through the interior. Zambia offers a safari experience of the traditional kind. Luxury and simplicity in little explored expanses with the highest professional standards in guiding in a country that is home to the walking safari.

Bangweulu Swamps, little visited, with vast wetlands and rare fauna such as the shoebill stork and the black lechwe

Kafue National Park - the open and wildlife-rich Busanga Plains

Shiwa N'Gandu, the "Africa House", built after World War One by Sir Stewart Gore-Brown with a wealth of fascinating colonial-era history
