Wolwedans Boulders Camp (Diana White) NamibiaOn arrival off your overnight flight you will be met and shown to your private charter down to Wolwedans in the NAMIBRAND GAME RESERVE.

Wolwedans Boulders Camp is tucked away amidst large granite rocks with views of incredible scenery - mountain ranges, deep red sand dunes and endless plains. With just four spacious tented rooms, a maximum of eight guests makes this a personal and exclusive experience.

You will find your days here filled with walking safaris along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen and guided scenic drives in the surrounding area and into the dunes. The afternoon excursion often culminates with drinks in a spectacular spot as you watch the sun set.

Himba Boy and Girl (Marcus Wilson-Smith) NamibiaFly north west to the coastal town of SWAKOPMUND where you will spend a night at the centrally located Hansa Hotel before heading off the next morning on your SKELETON COAST SAFARI.

Your three night adventure will take you further and further up the remote and beautiful coast, landing wherever there is something of interest to see. Highlights include the harsh coast whose beaches are strewn with bleached whalebones and rusted shipwrecks and the scenery of the vast hinterland, a landscape of haunting beauty, rolling sand dunes, expanses of uninhabited desert plains, fossil beds, unique geological formations, desert-adapted animals and strange vegetation. You may also chance upon a nomadic Himba tribe and spend some time with them.

Accommodation is in three simple but fully equipped camps – Kuidas in the lower reaches of the Huab River in the Erongo Region of Damaraland, Purros in the Hoarusib Valley in the Kunene region of Kaokoland and finally overlooking the Kunene River at the Angolan border right in the north.

Ongava Tented Camp, Etosha National Park NamibiaYou will be dropped off at the private airstrip in the Ongava Concession bordering ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK for some spectacular game viewing. Your private guide will meet you at the airstrip and look after you during your stay at Ongava Tented Camp – a small camp of eight spacious Meru-style tents. Each has a private verandah giving out onto the bush and you can relax by the swimming pool.

Oryx (Theresa Garrick) Etosha National Park NamibiaGame viewing in both the concession and park allows for a wide range of activities including day and night drives and walks with the private guide. The camp waterhole provides more superb photographic opportunities and there will be the chance to see both the desert-adapted black and white rhino.

Your guide will drive you south to Okonjima Bush Camp on the WATERBERG PLATEAU, a beautiful area of rolling hills. It is the home of the AfriCat foundation, a non-profit organization whose primary conservation aim is to protect and rehabilitate Namibian cheetah and leopard populations threatened by farmers. It makes a great spot to complete your African adventure and hone your photographic skills.

Okonjima Bush Camp, NamibiaThe uniquely styled thatched bungalows have a canvas front which can be opened up, giving panoramic views of the bush. Your time here will be a rewarding experience, visiting the various rehabilitation projects and tracking the radio-collared, but otherwise 'wild', leopard and cheetah by vehicle and on foot.

The guide will drive you back to Windhoek where there will be time to freshen up before heading to the international airport for your overnight flight direct back to London.

and what about?

Travel through Namibia’s wide open spaces on the Desert Express, a purpose designed and fitted luxury train. Maybe incorporate a night travelling between Windhoek and Swakopmund to enjoy a spectacular sunset and equally dramatic sunrise, or take a four day excursion up to Etosha sleeping on the train with game drives in the National Park.
