A troubled country but with an unspoilt beauty that it is still possible to explore and we will be happy to organise a holiday for you. As an example, three areas in the northern part of the country can be easily combined, flying between each.

To Victoria Falls first, staying just outside the town at a stylish thatched lodge, the VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI LODGE.  It is bordered by the Zambezi National Park and you can sit on your balcony looking down as the animals come to drink at the waterhole.

A regular shuttle bus takes you to view the Falls and to all the activities and shops in the town.

Move on to Hwange National Park, renowned for excellent game, which you will explore by open vehicles.

Situated in a remote area is MAKALOLO PLAINS CAMP where the spacious safari tents, each on its own platform, are linked to the main areas of the camp by a raised walkway giving excellent views over the open grasslands.

Fly over Lake Kariba to stay in the Matusadona National Park at the MATUSADONA WATER WILDERNESS, moored in a secluded bay.

Each floating bungalow is set apart from the mother-ship where you take your meals or relax at the bar.

You canoe yourselves between the units but there is always a guide on hand to see you safely home. You can take game drives, walk, canoe, fish and enjoy the stunning sunsets over the lake.

An itinerary combining both Zimbabwe and Botswana gives wonderfully contrasting game viewing experiences.  The variety of environments and animals of Hwange National Park and the stunning beauty of the waterscapes of the Okavango Delta will ensure a holiday never to be forgotten!
